For over 40 years, the International Starcraft Camper Club (ISCC) has
provided many opportunities for exciting camping adventures. With your
Starcraft ownership, you too can take part in what many families in the U.S.
and Canada feel is another rewarding aspect of RV ownership. The International
Camper Club sponsors many regional rallies, extended trips (RV and non-RV), and
a yearly International Rally, which has allowed members to travel across much
of the U.S. and into Canada. The ISCC also publishes a quarterly
newsletter, “The Chatter,” which keeps all members apprised of upcoming trips,
local chapter activities, membership news, and new products.
The local Ohio Chapter of the Starcraft Camper Club
(OSCC) sponsors weekend camping rallies in various areas of the state, monthly
May to October. In addition, the OSCC
hosts an indoor weekend getaway “camp-in” (adults only) in February and a
potluck supper in March for families to dust off the winter blahs. Members receive regular newsletters
throughout the year, which contain information about upcoming events, member
updates, and other pertinent news. The OSCC has been one of the most
active chapters of the International Starcraft Camper Club for over 30 years
and is currently the largest chapter.
The OSCC membership is very diverse. It has families with children of all ages,
retired couples, partners, and singles.
As a result, the club tries to offer activities at its gatherings that
appeal to all ages. You may take part in various sporting activities, play
cards or board games, sightsee, visit local shops and eateries, swap fishing
stories, or simply relax. Members build
cherished friendships they will treasure forever!
Membership is not limited to those owning Starcraft
units. The club welcomes all brands of
tents, campers, trailers, and recreational vehicles. The OSCC dues are only $10 per year, and ISCC
dues $25 per year (one year free with the purchase of a new Starcraft unit;
return the card in the owner’s packet).
